Restoration of simple wall designs between baroque and classicism

Chateau Třebešice

As is quite normal with mural conservation, these walls hold layers of varying motifs all relating to differing time periods. Restoring multiple levels of murals within a single room, is known as an unorthodox approach to preserving and connecting everything aesthetically. A cohesive and conventional conservation treatment will stick to one time period of murals.

Interconnections, improvisations, and sometimes large area reconstructions of floral designs have found a place within the restoration of Baroque, Empire, and Art Nouveau decorative paintings and stencil designs.
